But now I live a quiet life. By day I track down the cutest critters on the internet for you but by night . . . I’m usually shouting at my radio about the news and asking the really big questions like – I wonder if my dog likes carrots more than me (I think she does) or what’s the best way to grow tomatoes in my tiny, tiny bedroom? So far the closet tomatoes are ahead but it’s a very tight, very slow race. Read more about Sean McCarthy Read More
While enjoying the backcountry winter playground of Boulder Mountain, Idaho, Chuck Whitesell, Ryan Miller, and a few other friends saw a horse that was trapped on the mountainside. The backcountry is great if you have a snowmobile, but this horse was unprepared for the harsh winter conditions and found himself stuck in deep snow. The friends immediately turned around to fetch supplies and orchestrate a rescue.
Check out the video of the entire epic rescue:

GREAT HUMANS TO HELP THIS GREAT HORSE TO SAFETY .
In reality we do not know how that horse got there and sometimes things just happen. find out the story first. It is a goo thing though that he was spotted by people and rescued. One shudders to think what would have happened to him if they had not been been out snowmobiling that day.
THIS IS SUCH A GREAT STORY. HELPING THAT POOR HORSE LIKE THEY DID. BUT DOES IT NOT MAKE YOU WONDER WHY THE OWNER LEFT THAT HORSE THERE AND DID NOT TRY AND GET IT SOME HELP. I AM NOT SO SURE THE OWNER DESERVES TO GET THAT HORSE BACK. YOU NEED TO RE-HOME THAT HORSE TO A LOVING FAMILY WHO WOULD HAVE CALLED SOME ONE TO HELP THAT HORSE. WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED TO THAT POOR HORSE HAD THESE GUYS NOT COME ALONG TO HELP HIM. GREAT JOB GUYS!!
I agree. Whoever was the negligent guardian does not deserve to get him back!
